We utilize an excellent defense using an advanced firewall, a Brute Force Detection system and we run daily security audits on all servers. We also offer several tools to our end-user customers so they can manage their own security settings and features which can enhance custom web sites.
Virus Scanning

Clam AntiVirus (ClamAV) is an antivirus software toolkit that can detect many types of malicious software, including viruses. While we perform daily security checks, you can run this antivirus tool anytime you wish via your Control Panel.
Web site owners can even prevent other websites from inappropriately hogging their bandwidth and password-protect their entire site or just parts of it.
Password Protected Directories
Password protecting a directory restricts access to certain parts of your website by requiring visitors to enter a username and a password. This password process is also referred to as a type of “authentication” process.
IP Deny Manager
The IP Deny Manager allows you to prevent an IP address, domain name, or a block of IP addresses from accessing your web site. If someone is using a lot of your bandwidth, posting malicious content, or should not be allowed to access your site for another reason, you can prevent them from doing so in the IP Deny Manager.
FTP Session Control
This tool is especially useful to see who is currently logged into your account through FTP. You can also terminate any FTP connections to your site that you feel should not be open. This can be very useful in preventing users from accessing your files without your permission.
Hot Link Protection
Bandwidth theft or “hotlinking” is direct linking to a web site’s files; the most common is media files like images or videos. Bandwidth refers to the amount of data transferred from a web site to a user’s computer. When you view a web page, you are using that site’s bandwidth to display the files.
A simple analogy for bandwidth theft: Imagine a random stranger plugging into your electrical outlets, using your electricity without your consent, and you paying for it.
